Just days ago Atlantic Records’ Peter Ganberg, Executive VP of A&R, announced their newest addition to their A&R Department, Evan Lipschutz. Atlantic Records has named Evan Lipschutz as their new VP of A&R. Evan join Atlantic from Mercury/Island Records and worked with bands like Neon Trees to The Killers (to name a few).
Lipschutz holds a BA degree in Music Business from NYU and started his career in 2001 with Epic Records. That same year we started to A&R for Good Charlotte, Shakira, among others. Fast forward to 2009 and Evan was named as one of Billboard’s “30 Under 30” top music executives.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Evan to the Atlantic A&R team. He’s one of the brightest, most intuitive young A&R guys in the field today. He’s got great ears and great instincts, with a fantastic track record of discovering and signing outstanding new talent, and A&R’ing some of the best records of the past decade. I’m looking forward to great things from Evan as part of the Atlantic family.”
Lipschutz follow with:
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Atlantic Records team, I couldn’t be more excited to work with this legendary label and this great group of music people. I hope to continue the tradition of great A&R and artist development that has made Atlantic the home to so many iconic artists over so many years.”
Congrats to Evan Lipschutz and to Atlantic Records for the beginning of something GREAT!
